This page explains what happens with your data when you visit Flagpie. We've kept it short on purpose, but it covers everything that's actually relevant.
Flagpie doesn't currently have user accounts, and we don't collect names, emails, or any personal details just from playing the game.
Your game stats (games played, win percentage, current streak, and average guesses) are saved locally in your own browser using a technology called local storage. This data never leaves your device and we never see it. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, those stats reset.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and roughly where from. This tool doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you individually across other websites.
Flagpie displays ads through Google AdSense (or a similar ad network). These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads that are more relevant to you, based on your visits to this and other websites.
You can see or adjust how Google personalizes ads for you at Google Ads Settings. Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use cookies to serve ads based on someone's prior visits to this site or other sites.
If you sign up for a Flagpie account, we'll store your username and a securely hashed version of your password (never the plain password itself). This is used only to let you log back in and, if you choose to subscribe, to keep track of your subscription status.
Any payments on Flagpie (lifetime archive access or a monthly subscription) are handled entirely by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details ourselves, Stripe processes all of that directly.
If anything meaningful changes about how Flagpie handles data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact details listed on the site, once those are set up.
